TAXES – There is a death and taxes joke here, but it is not funny. Everyone but government hates taxes. However, they are the law and a complicated mess. There is a concept known as ‘presence’, or a business nexus, based upon a threshold volume of business done outside one’s home state – typically $100k per year (more in some states). At present I am only subject to Nevada sales tax and must add that to all NV purchases. The purchaser is responsible for any and all taxes outside Nevada.
